The Five Language of LOVE

Lets talk about language shall we? How many language in this world that is known to the human being?

But have you ever heard of the language of love?

Yeap, language of love. Its not just an emotion known to lure the deepest emotion of human kind and can make someone soooo crazy in love.

It was during a car ride getting back to college after dinner with some friends when somebody in the car mentioned “ The Five Language of LOVE “ .

So let me explained briefly what I understand about this particular topic.

There are basically five language of love,
-          Quality Time
-          Act of Service
-           Words of Affirmation
-          Physical Touch
-          Receiving Gifts

The theory was actually based on a book written by Gary Chapman, The Five Love Languages : How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate ( 1995 ) . It emphasizes on the five ways to express and experience love with and from the people around you. The author also mentioned that we should not use the language that we prefer but instead but we need to practise as the preferences of our partners/spouse.
Hint : Boyfriends / Girlfriends take note of your partners language of love, baru bahagia hidup berpasangan. Hiks
The theory itself is quite understandable but it is too long to share it here, so you might as well check your love language here : http://www.5lovelanguages.com/

So, I did a test to check my language of love, and turns out that I am the ‘ Quality Time ‘ person.

In Quality Time, nothing says “I love you” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby—makes you feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed activities, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful. Whether itʼs spending uninterrupted time talking with someone else or doing activities together, you deepen your connection with others through sharing time.

Tell me of your language of love, share with us here. Manalah tau, future boyfriend/girlfriend nampak ke, they will know how to act around you kaaaan.

Until then, toodles.

Love,

Aishah .
