Beauty is in the phi of the beholder, a blessing, a curse, and more than skin deep.

*bleeding nose* LOL. Okay, let's face it. When we meet someone new a first impression is first about looks; only later do things such as personality, brains and character start to take on meaning. A side note about beauty is that weight isn't much of a factor, unless the person is morbidly obese or anorexically skinny. The key to perceived beauty is the face.
*If you don't agree please do comment. I'd love to know your opinions on this. :)*

BEAUTY IS IN THE PHI OF THE BEHOLDER?
Mathematician try to put beauty in numbers. And that's where phi comes in. You see, they said beauty is all about symmetry, which is signified by the golden ratio

Korean beauty standards (S lines, V lines, X-line, are in today and it's slightly different than the Americans. Based on my observation, 18-25 years old Malaysians' idea of ideal beauty of a woman is pretty much the same: fair flawless radiant skin, which is the reason for the madness to KColly, AuraWhite, Pearl-White and other collagen-based-whitening supplement (White face, black hands? urmm...) Actually the colour of our skin shouldn't matter, it's geographically dependant, look at this female beauty standards of the world

Oh! I found out that it's actually prohibited (haram) to do this..is it true? Idk really, *If you don't agree or want to comment anything, please do so. I'd love to know your opinions on this. :)*

BEAUTY IS A BLESSING?

Most of us, regardless of our professed attitudes, prefer as customers to buy from better-looking salespeople, as jurors to listen to better-looking attorneys, as voters to be led by better-looking politicians, as students to learn from better-looking professors. Plus, the self-esteem of beautiful people is relatively higher than the averaged ones. Don't worry, with the right motivation and tools, beauty is easy. (I think I'll post about that later on)

Tbh idk how to wear make-up. Make up is scary...

BEAUTY IS A CURSE?

Some people say that beauty is a curse. The dark side of beauty includes narcissism, prone to douchebags who take advantage on their preys, obsession to stay pretty according to specified beauty standards etc. 63% of people said that the beauty standards today is NOT HEALTHY. It is RIDICULOUS. FYI, these are the common beauty-related disorders that need help, ie bulimia, obesity, anorexia

BEAUTY IS SKIN DEEP?

Nope, beauty is more than skin deep

So is it possible to determine something as "objectively beautiful" when the values of beauty are constantly shifting? Absolutely no. Well, yes as a guideline to make you a better but not to the point of obsession.  Everyone have different definitions of beauty. You don't have to conform to other's idea of ideal beauty. In my humble opinion,

Celebrity Perfumes : One Direction's "Our Moment"

It has been a few months since the official perfume of One
Direction, called ‘Our Moment’ is out in stores, but I still have not got a
hold of it for myself. I have seen it a few times behind those shiny, glass
doors in one of the stores in KLCC and Pavilion. The price ranges from RM250 to
RM 500, depending on the size of the bottle. Top notes are pink grapefruit,
forest fruits and red currant; middle notes are freesia, jasmine and
frangipani; base notes are woodsy notes, patchouli and musk.

Being an avid fan of One Direction, I’ll be getting one for myself pretty soon (hopefully), as it’s a must-have for every Directioner! Besides, the smell, wow! Trust me, you’ll love it. It’s not so strong (you know those that gives you a mild headache) yet it’s not too girlish (those teenage-girly-thingy). It’s perfect for young adults and the fragrance gives you a sensational feeling of positivity and confidence (Well, that’s what I think!). And don’t forget to watch the official commercial of “Our Moment”- it’s completely adorable anddddd FUNNY!!

Celebrity perfumes are something that I’ve always adored, mainly because of it’s unique shape and smell. It’s also said that a celebrity perfume actually defines their personality and those ingredients that are involved in the perfume are something that’s very personal to them (like it reminds them of something they love / brings back their good old memories).
Justin Bieber's SOMEDAY

Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck

Justin Timberlake's PLAY
Kim Kardashian's Signature Fragrance

If you have never come across or had the chance to try on a celebrity perfume, you can always go to those poshy stores in Pavilion or KLCC or Mid Valley or just anywhere that sells celebrity perfumes (definitely the original ones ya) and just ask for the sample! Yeah, it’s as simple as that! And you’ll know what I’m talking about. <3
And that’s a wrap! Thanks for reading yo! Stay pretty & healthy! Big love X
